Press Release: SQL Accord 1.2 in Beta Testing.
For immediate release.
SQL Effects Release 1.2 Now in Beta!
Orange County - California, March 3rd, 2005 - SQL Effects has announced its new release of SQL Accord, the database comparison tool, has now entered the beta phase prior to its planned public release.
The SQL Accord tool focuses on providing software developers, DBAs, quality engineers and other IT pros the ability to determine the differences between two Microsoft SQL Server databases. While other tools in this space exist and are on the market - SQL Effects feels their tool will stand out due to its flexibility, convenience, and speed and unique results display mechanisms. The tool not only performs the comparison operation very quickly but also has many time saving features built in that allow you to conserve precious time by not having to wade through a mountain of inmaterial differences results. The tool allows you to look at only the specific aspects of the database that you are interested in, down to the named object and attribute level - a feature not common to most similar tools.
In order to get the product ready for public release SQL Accord has recently gone through a development cycle. Important features added to round out the tools features include a revamped UI, a formatted results report, results export, help file and a number of usability enhancements. The company is now poised to enter the beta cycle period for final quality assurance and then will move on to the public release currently anticipated in May of 2005. The company has set aside plenty of time and resources for a major QA effort, and is concerned with making a good first impression as they enter this new market. SQL Effects management has stated that they will not ship this product until it is ready.
